Subway conducts fashion design promotion

Sandwich chain Subway Restaurants conducted a promotion this week at World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto. The promotion, called "Subway Style," took the form of a runway show in collaboration with designer Sunny Fong. The show featured a collection of six clothing ensembles inspired by the restaurant and the ingredients used in its food. The clothes incorporated yellow leather accents displaying the Subway logo, along with items intended to recall the look of lettuce and cucumbers, or the dotted pattern of the chain's wrapping paper.
"We are so fortunate to partner with Sunny Fong," said Kathleen Bell, director of national marketing at Subway Restaurants Canada. "He is an extremely talented designer and his collection presented our brand in a way that's innovative, stylish and fun. We are always looking at new ways to be a part of pop culture and share our healthy living message."
