Hill&Knowlton Strategies promotes two, hires three

Hill&Knowlton Strategies has promoted Cortney Anderson to the position of senior account director in its Toronto office. She joined the agency's technology communications practice four years ago. Prior to that, she was a communications manager at KPMG and a senior consultant at High Road Communications.

Tabetha Boot has been promoted to the position of group leader in Calgary. She will head the agency's corporate, crisis, marketing communications and issues management activities in that city. Boot joined the firm as an account director two years ago. Prior to that, she was the public relations and communication manager at Whistler Blackcomb.

Jaime Shulman has joined the agency as an account director in the national corporate development group in Toronto. She was most recently Canadian client services director at Periscope. She has also been the brand marketing manager at InterContinental Hotels Group and an account director at InField Marketing Group. Shulman has also worked at Armstrong Partnership and was co-owner of Strut.

Mike Murphy has been hired as a senior associate in the public sector communications practice of the agency's Ottawa office.

Tessa Ritter has been hired as a senior consultant in the Regina office. She was most recently a senior policy analyst for the Government of Saskatchewan. She was also an assistant to the Saskatchewan Minister of Advanced Education and a strategic planning and projects officer with the United Nations.
