Heineken releases new commercial

Molson Coors Canada has released a new television commercial for its Heineken beer brand. Developed by One Advertising of Toronto, it depicts a winter après-ski party being held in a city square. The ad promotes the brand's new Extra Cold Towers that cool draught beer to a point just above freezing. The creative uses the tagline, "Embrace the cold." The execution will run on television in 30- and 15-second versions in English and French until March 23. A two-minute online version has also been released. On March 9, a map will be added to the brand's website indicating establishments where cold towers have been installed. The campaign also includes on-premise materials including decals, coasters and signage. Media buying for the campaign was handled by MEC.
