W Network prepares new branding

Corus Entertainment will introduce a new brand identity for specialty television channel W Network early next year. The new branding, developed by Troika of Los Angeles, comprises on-air and online materials. The new identity use the theme "Reveal," and focuses on the relationships between the channel, its audience and its programming. The creative makes use of graphics intended to create an illusion of depth. W Network specializes in lifestyle and entertainment programming aimed primarily at women.
"Working with the talented team at Troika, we are launching a fresh on-air identity for W that highlights the dynamic and in depth connection between our audience and our on talent," said Dolores Keating-Mallen, vice-president and creative director of on-air promotions at Corus. "The brainstorming and collaboration with Troika has resulted in a visually stunning new look that will roll out across all the on-air elements on the network in January."
