Smith joins Roger Media

Rogers Media of Toronto has appointed Janice Smith to the position of vice-president of national media sales. She will begin work on Dec. 1. Smith has spent the last six years at CBC, most recently as executive director of multiplatform sales for the revenue group. She was also director of national broadcast sales at Global Television. Smith has also worked at CanWest MediaWorks, TSN and The Discovery Channel.
