Rogers Media promotes Dark

Rogers Media of Toronto has promoted Al Dark to the position of senior vice-president of media sales. He will begin work on Nov. 3 and will be head the sales staff for the company's television, radio, print and digital properties. He will also oversee revenue planning. Dark joined the company six months ago as vice-president of national sales. Prior to that, he was general manager of the revenue group at CBC. He has also worked for Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting, CanWest MediaWorks and CTV.
