Tapad moves into Canada

New York-based marketing technology company Tapad has expanded its operations into Canada with the opening of an office in Toronto. The company specializes in marketing systems for smartphones, tablets, computers and smart televisions. The new office is intended to promote the company's products to Canadian agencies and advertisers.
Kiersten Trafford has been appointed to the position of director of sales for Canada. She was most recently sales manager at Olive Media. Prior to that, she was at Torstar Digital.
"Our global clients consistently request our presence in Canada, a vital market for them and, clearly, for us," said Are Traasdahl, CEO of Tapad. "I have every confidence that Kiersten will ably lead the charge in a market that is more than ready to embrace a cross-screen solution."
