New president and CEO at TBWA Worldwide

Omnicom Group of New York has appointed Troy Ruhanen to the position of president and CEO of TBWA Worldwide. He was most recently an executive vice-president at Omnicom, where he was responsible for cross-agency collaboration. Prior to that, he was chairman and CEO of the Americas at BBDO Worldwide. Ruhanen has also been deputy chairman for North America at BBDO, New York managing director at BBDO and managing director at Leo Burnett Sydney.

Outgoing president and CEO Tom Carroll will remain chairman of TBWA Group. Jean-Marie Dru will continue as chairman of the TBWA Agency Network.
