Sharp breaks new television campaign

Mississauga-based Sharp Electronics of Canada has begun a national advertising campaign promoting its new line of Aquos Quattron+ television sets. The campaign, developed by Promotivate of Toronto, consists of 15-second animated television commercials that focus on the evolution of television technology. The creative uses the tagline, "Miss Nothing, Experience Everything." The television component is being supported by digital advertising.
"The challenge was to convey exceptional technical innovation in an accessible and engaging way, without having to resort to industry jargon," said Fayeque Townsend-Rahman, creative director of Promotivate. "The most compelling solution was to use a metaphorical approach, bridging Sharp's history of innovation with the future it is delivering."
