New chief marketing officer at Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons of Oakville, ON has appointed Peter Nowlan to the position of chief brand and marketing officer. He will begin work on May 21. Nowlan is currently chief commercial officer at Molson Coors Canada. Prior to that, he was chief marketing and strategy officer for the company. He was also previously vice-president of marketing and strategy for the US grocery sector at Kraft. He also held senior positions for Kraft in Asia and Canada. Nowlan was also head of marketing for the snacks division at Nabisco.
Retiring CMO Bill Moir will continue as president of the Tim Horton Children's Foundation until the end of 2015.
