Capital One breaks travel rewards campaign

Capital One Canada of Scarborough, ON has begun a new national marketing campaign in support of its Aspire Travel Word MasterCard travel rewards credit card. The initiative, developed by Taxi 2 of Toronto, focuses on the ease of redemption associated with the card. It makes use of two 30-second television commercials featuring comedian Martin Short that are intended to illustrate the frustration consumers can feel when attempting to book flights using travel reward points. The commercials will run through 2014, supported by print, digital and billboard advertising. Media work was handled by Jungle Media of Toronto, while public relations are being conducted by Citizen Relations of Toronto.
