Taco Bell releases online video promoting Doritos taco

Fast food chain Taco Bell Canada is conducting a social media promotion in support of the permanent addition of Doritos Locos Tacos to its menu. The promotion involves an online video that has been posted to YouTube and the brand's Facebook page. The video depicts a consumer getting a Doritos Locos tattoo on his arm in exchange for a lifetime supply of the tacos. The video was created by Grip of Toronto.

"Although Doritos Locos Tacos were only supposed to be in Canada for a limited time, Taco Bell Canada fans loved them so much, we had to take action to make DLT a permanent menu item," said Veronica Castillo, marketing manager at Taco Bell Canada. "In a bold move, we invited one of our biggest fans to profess his love for Doritos Locos Tacos by getting a DLT tattoo in return for free DLTs for life."

Taco Bell is a subsidiary of Yum Brands.
