Rogers promotes digital cable in Ottawa

Rogers has begun an out-of-home campaign in Ottawa promoting its Rogers Digital TV NextBox 3.0 cable service. The campaign, developed by Pattison Outdoor Advertising of Mississauga, makes use of what the company is calling the first domination-style components to be used in Ottawa transit stations. Rogers will be the exclusive advertiser in the Hurdman and Lincoln Fields transit stations for the final four weeks of the six-week campaign. The installations will consist of vinyl displays on glass windows, along with stair riser ads in the Lincoln Fields station. The campaign, which will run until Dec. 3, also includes billboards and bus murals.

"Pattison Outdoor Advertising is proud to introduce the first two station dominations as part of the company's renewed partnership with OC Transpo," said Frank Wilson, sales manager for Ottawa and eastern Ontario at the company. "Pattison's 10-year agreement to be the exclusive supplier of advertising space for OC Transpo is another example of the company's commitment to providing innovative advertising opportunities with unmatched reach and coverage."
