MasterCard conducts Oldest Rivalry promotion

MasterCard Canada conducted an online promotion last month tied to its sponsorship of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. The campaign, called "#Oldestrivalry," was developed by MacLaren McCann. During the day of the season opening game between the teams, MasterCard solicited heckling suggestions from fans via social media. The submissions were then set to music and performed in a series of YouTube videos by a pair of barbershop quartets: Shoptimus Prime and Quartom. The promotion generated 56 videos over a period of eight hours.
