Fresh Baked Entertainment relaunches web content division
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based branded content company Fresh Baked Entertainment has relaunched its web division. The web unit works to match advertisers with online video series producers seeking sponsors. The company then participates in the integration of the brand into the series. The company has constructed a website at <http://www.freshbakedent.com> that includes a database of approximately 200 shows, as well as a request-for-proposals service aimed at clients seeking a purpose-built show. The company's clients include McDonalds, Johnson & Johnson, ConAgra and Maple Leaf Foods.
"It's become quite apparent to us that there are two separate worlds that both need each other for their success, but nobody has ever introduced them," said Fresh Baked president Brett Heard. "Agencies and media companies are focused on creating ads, pre-rolls and banners. The search engines are looking to place pre-rolls and display ads in front of or around the shows. But now stats are showing that brands integrated authentically into content provides the most effective engagement for marketers."
