Cimoroni & Company opens in Toronto

A new content development and client services company called Cimoroni & Company has opened in Toronto. It will work to connect clients with commercial, media and event-related options for brand exposure. It will also offer original content development, professional services and business development services. The company will develop film, television and live sporting event properties in association with Aquila Productions of Edmonton.

The firm is headed by CEO Dan Cimoroni, previously senior vice-president of Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium. He was also vice-president of sports and management at Insight Sports and vice-president of IMG Global Golf.

"Cimoroni & Company is the future of client and content services with the goal of communicating, creating and integrating client brand strategies within activation partnerships," said Cimoroni. "Our team members bring expertise in the fields of sport, music, entertainment, technology and leisure. The C&C group has created, managed, brokered and facilitated some of the most exciting content and events in Canada and around the globe."

Bell Media has retained Cimoroni & Company as the sales representative for CTV, RDS and TSN's coverage of the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015. The assignment includes the sale of partnership packages, advertising time, digital advertising and broadcast elements related to Bell Media's coverage of the soccer tournament. In addition, Taboo Golf Course in Gravenhurst, ON has hired the company to develop the sport, event and content elements of a study on the expansion of its brand.
