Walmart breaks back-to-school campaign

Walmart has begun a new back-to-school advertising campaign. The effort, developed by JWT, consists of four television commercials and nine online videos depicting the different strategies mothers employ when shopping for school supplies. Media planning was conducted by Mindshare. The TV commercials are running on specialty channels aimed primarily at women, including W Network, HGTV and Food Network, in addition to conventional channels. The online videos are running on YouTube, CTV.ca, GlobalTV.com and Radio-Canada.ca.
