Brand Momentum begins initiative with The Remix Project

Brand Momentum of Toronto has begun a new initiative in association with The Remix Project, a Toronto-based charitable organization. The project is being conducted by Life Momentum, the agency's corporate social responsibility division. The project will take the form of a series of workshops for marginalized youth in the Greater Toronto Area. The workshops are intended to provide skills training to participants in The Remix Project's creative arts and recording arts programs. Brand Momentum will develop a seminar series in which industry executives will cover topics including branding, marketing, business ethics, financial literacy, resume building and social responsibility, among others. Brand Momentum and participating clients will also offer internships to graduates of the nine-month program. "With a shared goal of increasing opportunities and an emphasis on developing relevant skills, we will be able to create a positive impact on our local youth by providing the training required to achieve their own livelihood goals," said Hesham Shafie, CEO of Brand Momentum.
