Waterfront Toronto hires Marshall Fenn Communications

Waterfront Toronto has retained Marshall Fenn Communications, also based in Toronto, as its marketing agency. The firm won the account in a competitive bid process that began in March. The contract is for two years with a two optional one-year renewals. Waterfront Toronto is a joint initiative of the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario and the City of Toronto. It takes the form of a 25-year effort to redevelop 800 hectares on the shore of Lake Ontario into residential, commercial and public space. "We have a challenging future ahead, and have set big objectives, so we're pleased to have Marshall Fenn as our partners to help us meet those challenges," said Marisa Piattelli, chief administration officer for Waterfront Toronto. "We were impressed with the unique body of creative work Marshall Fenn has delivered over the years and their intuitive feel for the marketing needs of Waterfront Toronto."
