The Score rebrands as Sportsnet 360

Rogers Media will rebrand its The Score property as Sportsnet 360 on July 1. The specialty television channel will continue to feature sports news, scores, statistics and highlights. The rebranding includes a new logo, sets, animations and ticker, all combining the red and blue colour scheme of the overall Sportsnet brand with the orange and blue of the The Score brand. The channel will also adopt the Sportsnet tagline, "Fuelled By Fans." The rebranding was developed in-house by Rogers Media. Rogers plans to integrate Sportsnet 360 into the overall Sportsnet brand via cross-promotion and content sharing on its various television, radio, print, digital and social media channels. The company will support the rebranding with a marketing campaign that will take place in the weeks before the channel's relaunch. "All of the things that viewers of The Score have come to know and love will not change," said Scott Moore, broadcast president at Rogers Media. "Sportsnet 360 will continue to offer the hard core sports fan highlights, stats, and scores across the broadest range of sports, but on a much larger scale. We'll deliver a vast breadth of premium sports content in a fast-paced, energetic and entertaining manner, and the new name, logo and animation will embody this."
