By Adnews Staff
National Bank of Canada has begun a new program called "One for Youth" aimed at non-profit organizations and public schools in the Montreal area. Until June 14, such organizations can submit descriptions of proposed youth initiatives in order to apply for financial support of up to $25,000. The bank intended to distribute $1 million in 2013 through this program. "Every day hundreds of organizations and elementary and high schools support our young persons by investing their time and energy wholeheartedly," said Paul Katra, Montreal regional vice-president for National Bank. "Today, we want to tell you that we are with you and that we share this same desire to build a Canada of tomorrow that supports young persons by giving them necessary tools to fully realize themselves from birth to university."
