Location Based Marketing Association forms global advisory board

The Toronto-based Location Based Marketing Association has created a new global advisory board intended to reflect its increasing international membership. The members of the board include association president Asif Khan, Nigel Arthur of Urban Airship, Dave Coleman of Google Canada, Neil Crist of Venuelabs, John Fisher of DMTI Spatial, Claire Mula of Sprooki, Damien Patton of Banjo, Gary Schwartz of Impact Mobile, Kim Siler of Coca-Cola, and James Winter of PayPal. The association represents approximately 600 retailers, agencies, media buyers, technology firms and wireless companies engaged in location-based marketing activities.
