Ontario Public Health conducts chlamydia awareness campaign
By Adnews Staff
Ontario Public Health has begun a new campaign intended to raise awareness of the sexually transmitted disease chlamydia among college students in that province. The campaign, developed by Agency Rain43 of Toronto, consists of posters, online advertising and a pair of websites focusing on the social consequences and embarrassment of passing on the disease to someone else. It makes use of the tagline, "Friends Don't Give Friends Chlamydia." The initiative includes five online videos running on websites such as MTV, Yahoo.ca, MuchMusic, Youtube and Gorilla Nation. In addition, a longer video is being hosted at <http://www.findoutthewholestory.ca> and <http://www.sexualhealthontario.ca>.
