Bell conducts Let's Talk Day campaign
By Adnews Staff
Bell is in the middle of its annual "Bell Let's Talk Day" campaign, which is intended to raise awareness of issues related to mental illness. On Feb. 12, Bell will donate five cents to a group of mental health programs for each text message or long distance call made by its customers. The national campaign, developed by Lg2 of Montreal, consists of 15-second television commercials, as well as billboards, radio ads and online banners, as well as social media activities. The campaign features spokespersons Seamus O'Regan, Clara Hughes, Michel Mpambara and Stefie Shock. The intent of the initiative is to encourage Canadians to talk about mental illness and to counter stigmas surrounding it.
