Shaw Media has signed a sponsorship agreement with CIBC for its program Canada's Income Property, which airs on specialty channel HGTV Canada. The agreement includes in-show product integration, in-branch promotions, digital elements and social media activities. In addition, show host Scott McGillivray will make a series of personal appearances at CIBC events. "With three equal partners, this goes far beyond any sponsorship deal to date," said Errol Da-Re, senior vice-president of sales at Shaw Media. "We'll be working closely with CIBC along with Scott and his team on this innovative approach to merge our assets and connect with Canadians like never before. We will be reaching consumers in multiple areas, from their living rooms to their local CIBC branch."
