Telpner departs BrainStorm Group

Ron Telpner, chairman and founder of Toronto-based The BrainStorm Group, has retired after 35 years in the advertising industry. He began his career as branch manager of McKim Winnipeg. Later he was executive vice-president of McKim/BBDO Advertising in Toronto. Telpner founded The BrainStorm Group in 1992. Ownership and the operations of the agency moved to its senior partners in 2011. "This is the final stage of a planned succession," said CEO Bob Froese. "Ron and I have had a brilliant partnership, the business is performing strongly and I'm looking forward to seeing Ron’s next big adventure."
