Toronto-based Corus Entertainment has entered into an agreement with NBCUniversal of New York to operate IVillage Canada and to provide Canadian online advertising sales representation for IVillage sites. The site specializes in content for women on the subjects of parenting, health, entertainment, style, food, living and relationships. It will continue to offer original content, now to be accompanied by material from Corus properties including W Network and CosmoTV. "IVillage affords Corus and our clients expanded opportunities for high-impact, customized sponsorship and advertising solutions that complement our current array of advertising offerings for women," said Maria Hale, vice-president and head of digital and content distribution for television at Corus Entertainment. "This partnership solidifies our commitment to deliver premium content and audience engagement opportunities across platforms."
