Quebec dentists break awareness campaign

The Montreal-based Ordre des dentistes du Québec has begun a new radio and television advertising campaign in that province intended to inform consumers of the role played by dentists in maintaining oral health. The 30-second television campaign will run for four weeks on 10 general and specialty French-language channels. English-language radio ads will run on four stations. The ads use the tagline, "Dentists. Doctors who put a spotlight on your oral health." Additional television advertising will take place in late March and early April. The campaign was developed by Über. "This is the first phase of an integrated communication campaign in keeping with our mission of increasing public awareness," said Barry Dolman, president of the organization. "The campaign focuses on dentists' important role in Quebecers' lives." The Ordre des dentistes du Québec represents approximately 4,800 dentists in the province.
