Cue Digital Media launches sports division

Cue Digital Media of Toronto has launched a new sports division that will sell advertising aimed at sports consumers. The company has formed an agreement with US-based SB Nation to handle ad sales representation in Canada for its collection of 300 team- and sport-specific websites. The new division will be led by sales director Jason Furlano. "This is a great opportunity for Cue, Canadian sport fans and SB Nation," said a Cue Digital spokesperson. "The SB Nation audience comprises diehard male sports fans looking for the best voices in sports coverage. The SB Nation fan is an affluent, avid online user, tech savvy and difficult to reach through traditional media. SB Nation reaches 888,000 unique Canadian visitors and ranks in the top 10 Canadian sports sites." SB Nation is owned by Vox Media of Washington, DC.
