Travel & Escape, form joint advertising agreement

Travel-themed specialty television channel Travel & Escape has begun an advertising collaboration with travel website The channel is owned by Blue Ant Media of Toronto, while the site is a division of Torstar Digital. The arrangement is intended to allow advertisers to reach consumers with an interest in travel through both television and online media. The companies estimate their combined audience at approximately five million viewers per month. "This collaboration of go-to travel brands gives advertisers a broader scope of influence with travel enthusiasts," said Anna Carbone, vice-president of television sales at Blue Ant Media. "The program with offers marketers the opportunity to convey their communication message through a travel network, using complimentary platforms."
