Visit Orlando conducts Ontario advertising campaign

Florida tourism marketing organization Visit Orlando has begun an advertising in Ontario in association with Astral Mix, Carat and LPI Group. The campaign consists of television commercials on Family Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior, as well as ads on the websites of those channels. The effort also makes use of billboard and transit shelter advertising. The campaign is aimed primarily at families and promotes the range of activities available in the Orlando area. The television creative depicts a brother and sister taking part in a number of these activities while on a trip to the region. Digital billboard executions display live weather conditions in Orlando and photographs of real Canadian families on vacation there. Consumers are invited to submit their own vacation photos via Facebook or a website at <http://www.visitorlando.com/billboard>. The campaign also includes a contest component in which consumers can enter a draw for trip to Orlando at Family.ca.
