Foreign Agricultural Resource Management Services has retained Enterprise Canada of Toronto as its public relations agency of record through 2013. The assignment also includes the development of media relations strategy for the organization with the goal of raising awareness of its work. Foreign Agricultural Resource Management Services is a not-for-profit organization that administers the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program on behalf of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. The program matches seasonal workers from Mexico, Jamaica, Trinidad/Tobago, Barbados and the East Caribbean with Ontario farms in need of labourers. "We are pleased to be working with Enterprise Canada to build awareness and understanding of the vital role seasonal agricultural workers play in Ontario's agrifood industry," said FARMS president Ken Forth. "This program has provided a long list of benefits to farmers and the seasonal workers for 46 years, and it's very important for us to share that success story."
