NABS readies national fundraising campaign

The Toronto-based National Advertising Benevolent Society will conduct a fundraising initiative on Nov. 2 called the "National NABS Hour Campaign." The effort, which is being presented in association with DentsuBos, will encourage employees at Canadian advertising agencies to donate one hour's worth of wages to the society. Employees can calculate their hourly wage using a website at <http://www.nabshour.com>, then make a donation via boxes placed in agency offices. "The NABS Hour campaign is timely and imperative," said NABS executive director Jim Warrington. "We're seeing a lot of agency stress right now. It's a growing activity for our counseling services."
