Say Media rebrands ReadWriteWeb as ReadWrite

Say Media of Montreal has re-launched its online technology publication ReadWriteWeb as ReadWrite. The redesign includes desktop, mobile and tablet versions, with the tablet being considered the primary format. Additional changed include a new visual style, logo and layout. Dan Lyons, previously a columnist at Newsweek and editor at Forbes, has been appointed editor-in-chief. "Readers of the new ReadWrite will find smart, relevant stories about the impact of tomorrow's technology on our lives, chronicled with a passionate and personal point of view," said Lyons. "We think readers will quickly appreciate the editorial direction we are taking, while advertisers and marketers will find ReadWrite a great place to connect with millions of the world's most savvy tech enthusiasts as well as IT and business executives." Acer has signed-on as launch sponsor to promote its Aspire S7 laptop.
