Corby Distilleries breaks launch campaign for Wiser's Spiced

Corby Distilleries has begun a new campaign for its Wiser's Spiced whiskey. The effort, developed by John St. of Toronto, consists of three 15-second commercials that broke first on the brand's Facebook page last week before begining a national television run. The ads, called "Chess," "Wood Carver" and "Singers," depict young men describing the taste of the product with contrasting visual images. The ads use the tagline, "That's Spiced Up." The campaign also includes social media, on-premise and retail activities. "Anytime you're asked to describe a new product in the whiskey category to the LDA-plus demographic you have to do so in a way that not only peaks their interest and curiosity, but also entertains," said Chris Hirsch, associate creative director at John St.
