PepsiCo begins Tropicana Tree of Giving promotion
By Adnews Staff
PepsiCo Beverages Canada has launched a new charitable program tied to its Tropicana line of fruit juice products. The program, called the "Tropicana Tree of Giving," supports the national child nutrition initiative Breakfast for Learning. The effort takes the form of an interactive orange tree grove located at <http://www.tropicanatree.ca/>. For each orange visitors pluck from the trees, the company will donate a serving of Tropicana orange juice to Breakfast for Learning. Visitors are also encouraged to share the site via social networking services. Participants will also be entered into a draw for a one-year supply of orange juice. "For more than 20 years, Tropicana juice has been a mainstay at breakfast tables across Canada, providing good nutrition and a bright start to the morning," said Neetu Godara, senior marketing manager for Tropicana. "Partnering with Breakfast for Learning further enables our brand the chance to help meet the nutritional needs of many students who go without breakfast on a daily basis."
