Blue Ant Media adds senior staff

Blue Ant Media of Toronto has appointed Raja Khanna to the new position of television and digital chief executive officer. He was CEO of GlassBox Television prior to its acquisition by Blue Ant. Jeffrey Elliott, former president and chief strategy officer of GlassBox, will depart the company but remain a consultant to Blue Ant and a shareholder. Ken Murphy and John Panikkar, co-founders of High Fidelity HDTV, also acquired by Blue Ant, will also depart the company and will also be shareholders in Blue Ant. Murphy will join the Blue Ant board of directors. Vanessa Case has been appointed executive vice-president of television and digital programming and marketing. Asha Daniere has joined the company in the newly-created position of executive vice-president of television and digital legal affairs. She was previously senior vice-president and general counsel at Score Media. Simon Foster has been hired as senior vice-president of television and digital publishing and business development. Wayne Scrivens has been appointed senior vice-president of television and digital technology. Frank Bertolas joined the company as executive vice-president and chief financial officer. Anna Carbone has been appointed vice-president of television sales. Ryan Fuss has joined the company as vice-president of digital sales. He was previously managing director of Canadian sales at Glam Media. Andrew Irwin has been promoted to vice-president of content distribution and partnerships.
