NASCAR Canada has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Pinty's Delicious Foods. The poultry company will be the title sponsor of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series championship race, which will take place this year on Sept. 22. The brand will also receive exposure on all NASCAR properties in Canada, including the Sprint Cup Series and the Nationwide Series. Pinty's will also sponsor a weekly NASCAR Race Report segment on the TSN program Sportscentre. During the Canadian Tire Series, the company will also sponsor the Official Wingman Award, presented to the crew chief of the winner. "We love our wings at Pinty's just as much as we love our racing," said Tony Spiteri, vice-president of marketing at Pinty's Delicious Foods. "NASCAR and Pinty's are the perfect partners. As official partner of NASCAR in Canada, our goal is to bring two great Canadian traditions together: sharing great wings and watching racing with the family and friends." NASCAR Canada is a joint venture between NASCAR and TSN Events.
