Sponsorship conference rebrands

Strategic Sponsorship Marketing: The Canadian Summit, an annual national conference for sponsorship marketers held in Toronto, has rebranded itself as Sponsorship Toronto. According to event organizer The Sponsorship Report, the old name no longer accurately represents the conference in the city. The event has also constructed a new website at <http://www.sponsorshiptoronto.com>. "The rebranding exercise certainly benefited from the sage advice of Jody Larose Sponsorship and Marketing Alliances," said Mark Sabourin, publisher of The Sponsorship Report. "Jody's insights helped keep the process steered in the right direction." The next event will take place on Oct. 16 and 17.
