Insurance company The Co-operators has redesigned its website at <http://www.cooperators.ca> to enhance its accessibility for users with physical disabilities. Each page of the site now includes an accessibility icon which users can click to download assistive technology for those who have difficulty typing, reading or using a mouse. "The Co-operators serves a wide variety of communities in our daily business, including those with disabilities, and we strive to reach them in ways that are convenient and helpful to them," said Paul Mlodzik, the company's vice-president of marketing and communications. "Our website contains useful information about various types of insurance, investments, financial planning and safety tips, among many other things. We want to make sure that information is available to all Canadians."
