The Shopping Channel conducts 25th anniversary contest

The Shopping Channel of Mississauga has begun a contest promotion to coincide with its 25th anniversary. During the year-long initiative, the channel will give away 25 five-day Caribbean cruises from Travelocity.ca. Consumers can enter the contest by spotting Travelocity's "Roaming Gnome" mascot on the channel's television or online services. "We're excited to celebrate this milestone in Canadian retailing," said Ted Starkman, executive vice-president and general manager of The Shopping Channel. "In honour of this momentous occasion, we will be rewarding our valued customers each and every day, all month long, with special events and fantastic values, both online and on our national broadcast." The Shopping Channel is a division of Rogers Broadcasting.
