Evolve Media moves into Canada

Evolve Media of Los Angeles has launched in Canada. The company specializes in online advertising sales. It consists of three divisions: Gorilla Nation, which is focused on entertainment, news, business, automotive, gaming and video sites, Totallyher, which focuses on women's lifestyle properties, and CraveOnline, which specializes in male lifestyle properties. According to the company, these divisions represent approximately 600 websites reaching approximately 300 million people per month. "Evolve Media believes that in today's crowded market place, brands achieve more by working with experts," said Walder Amaya, senior vice-president of Canadian and international operations at Evolve. "When we were presented with the opportunity to work with these rapidly growing and fantastic communities we knew that in order to be experts across a varied set of audiences and demographics, we would need to not only build dedicated sales teams for each vertical, but entirely specialized divisions. Through this, we are able to offer relevant content, context and creative with scale to Canadian advertisers."
