LCBO begins holiday promotion

LCBO of Toronto has begun a holiday season promotion called "Holiday Wrapped Up" in support of its gift packages. The initiative will run until Dec. 31 in the 630 LCBO stores in Ontario. The retail chain is promoting approximately 190 gift packs consisting of larger-size and limited edition bottles, as well as multi-bottle packages intended for gift-giving. The promotion consists of in-store materials and online materials at <http://www.lcboholiday.com/gift_guide> and <http://www.vintages.com/giftrapt>. "Our customers want help deciding what to buy and their holiday shopping made as simple as possible," said Bob Downey, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at LCBO. "This promotion does that by providing a range of gift packs at different prices, highlighting top seasonal product picks and a free holiday brochure with tips on how to entertain responsibly and with ease." The LCBO has also resumed its "Deflate the Elephant" social responsibility public information campaign, consisting of online, broadcast, street-level and in-store advertising.
