The Canadian Marketing Association distributed its 41st annual awards last week. Mars Canada won the association's "Best of the Best" award for its "Find Red" campaign for M&Ms, developed by Proximity Canada. The campaign also won gold awards in the integrated, digital and media innovation categories. Gold awards were also won by Toronto Crime Stoppers and DDB, Subaru Canada and DDB, James Ready Brewing and Leo Burnett, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism and Target, Boston Pizza and Taxi, The Canadian Tourism Commission and DDB, MasterCard Canada and MacLaren McCann, Telus and Taxi, Just for Laughs and Twist Image, Audi Canada and Bimm Direct and Digital, Rogers Communications and Rosetta, the Fondation de l'Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille and Cossette, Invesco Trimark and Leo Burnett, Bombardier and Media Experts, Stanfield's and Environics Communications, Workopolis and Environics Communications and Zulu Alpha Kilo, and Scotiabank and Narrative Advocacy Media. In addition, Christine Day, chief executive officer of Lululemon Athletica, was named marketer of the year.
