Wendy's conducts national campaign

Fast food restaurant chain Wendy's is conducting an advertising campaign for a new menu item called the Dave's Hot 'N Juicy Cheeseburger. The national campaign includes television radio, digital and direct mail advertising, as well as social media activities. The creative was developed by Kaplan Thaler Group of the US and adapted for Canada by MacLaren McCann. It includes images and clips from the 1984 Wendy's "Where's the Beef?" campaign. Media planning and buying were conducted by M2 Universal, while Ketchum Public Relations Canada is handling public relations. "Wendy's has never compromised on freshness," said Lisa Deletroz, regional marketing director at Wendy's Restaurants of Canada. "We believe that fresh beef simply tastes better. With the new Dave's Hot 'N Juicy Cheeseburger, we can proudly tell cheeseburger lovers everywhere that at Wendy's, Here's the Beef."
