New chief operating officer at DDB Group Canada

Toronto-based DDB Group Canada has promoted Mike Bauman to the position of chief operating officer. He will also remain the agency's chief financial officer. In addition to overseeing company's legal, risk management, payroll and tax services, he will work with DDB Group Canada's agency presidents to manage business operations such as client contract negotiations, acquisition prospecting, real estate portfolio management and supplier management. He will also lead the company's financial and information technology units.
