NABS readies fundraising promotion

Toronto-based charitable organization NABS is readying a fundraising effort called "Dare4NABS." On Aug. 2, 30 participants will participate in Edgewalk, a soon-to-open attraction at the CN Tower which will allow people to walk around the edge of the the tower's roof. The five teams will seek to raise a total of $25,000 for the organization. The initiative includes a website at <http://www.dare4nabs.com>. "The vibrancy and caring nature of our industry is evident in the inspiration, generosity and bravery of those participating in Dare4NABS," said Jim Warrington, executive director of the charity. "At NABS, our needs are growing, and we are thankful to all 30 daredevils for their thrill seeking personalities and the enthusiasm they are infusing into this very unique fundraising effort."
