Fido begins Share Your Care campaign

Telecommunications company Fido has begun a new campaign called "Share Your Care" in association with national not-for-profit organization Evergreen. The campaign encourages consumers to support local environmental and community groups by voting for various projects listed online at <http://www.shareyourcare.ca>. At the end of the initiative, Fido will split $100,000 between 20 of the projects. The website and supporting online advertising were developed by Revolver 3. Media planning and buying was handled by OMD. The campaign will run until Aug. 14. "We want to work together and encourage Canadians to make choices that will reduce their ecological impact and benefit their communities directly," said Steven Sarfin, senior marketing director at Fido. "We believe in making our cities more liveable and we know that our customers want this too. We're happy to give Canadians the opportunity to show their support."
