Toronto Animal Services begins How Far campaign

The Toronto Animal Services division of the City of Toronto has begun a new campaign called "How Far?" intended to encourage residents of the city to adopt a pet or make a donation. The campaign, developed by Publicis, consists of print, outdoor and online executions. The creative depicts a house cat on an ice floe, along with the copy, "How far away does an animal have to be before you help?" "We're inundated with imagery and messaging about saving whales, polar bears and the like, but sometimes we forget that there are animals right here in our own city who need our help," said Pat Pirisi, creative director at Publicis Toronto. "This campaign was created as a poignant reminder of this reality."
