Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism conducts 48 Half Hours contest

Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism has begun a contest promotion in association with airline WestJet. At noon on June 22, the organization began its "48 Half Hours" promotion via its Facebook page. Until the contest closes at noon on June 23, one entrant each 30 minutes will win a round-trip flight to the province. The contest, developed by St. John's-based Target, is based on the half-hour time zone difference between Newfoundland and Labrador and the rest of the country.
